In a world ravage by disease, unemployment and extreme weather, one company reigns supreme—Cloud. More than the biggest retailer on the planet, it brands itself a global saviour, able to deliver anything to your doorstep almost before you know you want it.

Cloud's live-work facilities mean that employees never have to leave. For newly-hired Paxton, it is both a chance for revenge and his only hope of survival. And now he's met Zinnia who, like him, has an agenda all of her own.

But something dark lurks at the core of Cloud, and Paxton senses that Zinnia is hiding something too. Something that feels dangerous, that makes him wonder whose side she's really on.
